“The Corporate Innovation Manager program is a groundbreaking initiative, the first of its kind in Israel” shared Ronit Aviv, who heads the Knowledge Center for Innovation. “The purpose of this program is to provide an answer to the growing need for Innovation Managers at large organizations, which has developed significantly over the last few years.”

Recommended by a number of academic experts and leading innovation managers in Israel, the program is based on both academic research and advanced practical knowledge. As a part of the program, innovation managers experiment with methodologies for promoting corporate innovation. Qmarkets award-winning software will serve as the university innovation platform by which this experimentation is facilitated.

“The program focuses on four levels of innovation knowledge: organizational culture, organizational layout, innovation strategy, and innovation process management tools, based on the ‘Idea Journey’ model, developed by Professor Miriam Erez.” Said Aviv.

“Qmarkets’ ideation system is a platform which significantly advances the corporate innovation management process and provides a solution for many of the challenges which arise in managing an innovation program.” Aviv continued. “This is why we chose to expose our program’s participants to this advanced platform as a part of their study tasks.”

Noam Danon, Qmarkets’ founder and CEO: “We are proud that Qmarkets’ is being used as a university innovation platform to teach and train the creative leaders of tomorrow, and of course – knowing that our platform is being used to promote the field of innovation management in Israel – makes us doubly proud”.

About the Technion’s Knowledge Center for Innovation

Founded in 1912, Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, is one of Israel’s oldest universities, and consistently ranks among the top science and technology research universities in the world. Since its founding, Technion has awarded more than 100,000 degrees, with many notable figures amongst its alumni, including 80 percent of all CEOs at Israeli NASDAQ companies.

The goal of Technion’s Knowledge Center for Innovation is to promote innovation in the Israeli economy, as a means of growth and leadership in the competitive global economy. The Center’s guiding principle is that increasing the level of innovation requires a mix of Bottom-Up processes, which begin with the employee, team or organization; Top-Down processes, which are guided by and supported by governmental policy; and in combination with Israel’s academic excellence and knowledge, create a trinity of forces made up of the private sector, academia and government.

Today, the Center runs and leads a wide range of initiatives, such as the Manager’s Innovation Forum, intervention research processes, programs promoting innovation and digital transformation in classic industries by means of student groups, and more.
